Marketing Implementation
Client: Rocket
Rocket brought me in at a crucial time in their evolution. After the pandemic shifted their markets and reduced inbound enquiries, they recognised the need for clearer positioning, stronger visibility and a strategic approach to growth but didn’t yet have in-house marketing leadership to guide the process.
Brand Workshop & Strategic Foundation
We began with a brand strategy workshop to clarify Rocket’s positioning, audience fit and brand narrative. Working closely with the leadership team, we explored their market landscape, client expectations and long-held strengths to uncover what set Rocket apart.
This workshop led to:
- A refreshed brand narrative
- Clearer messaging and tone of voice
- Updated brand guidelines
- A shared, aligned vision across the team
It was the strategic reset they needed: a unified understanding of who they are, who they serve and how they communicate their value.
Turning Strategy Into Action
With the brand clarified, we moved into implementation. I translated the workshop insights into a structured plan that elevated Rocket’s visibility and strengthened their market presence.
This included:
- Overhauling and modernising their website
- Introducing consistent social media and digital activity
- Developing case studies and content showcasing their expertise
- Increasing presence at targeted trade shows
- Securing relevant PR and visibility opportunities
This combined effort significantly increased business enquiries and helped Rocket regain momentum in key markets.
Supporting Growth & Operational Clarity
Alongside brand and marketing activity, I supported the commercial team by helping implement a CRM system. This gave Rocket greater visibility of their pipeline, improved lead management and supported more efficient sales processes.
A People-Led CSR Initiative
During my time with Rocket, I also helped shape their CSR activity. Together, we led fundraising initiatives for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust — a cause deeply meaningful to the team. Through coordinated campaigns and partner outreach, we raised over £10,000 in a single year.
“Liontooth helped us bring clarity to our brand and direction at a time when Rocket needed it most. Lisa led workshops that helped us define our goals and translate them into a stronger brand presence, including a refreshed website, clearer messaging and more confident marketing activity. With her support, we implemented a CRM, re-engaged our markets and saw a real increase in enquiries.
Lisa brought structure, momentum and a strategic approach we simply didn’t have in-house. I would highly recommend her to any business needing experienced, thoughtful marketing and brand leadership.”

The Outcome
From the initial brand workshop through to ongoing implementation, Rocket transitioned from being quietly capable to confidently visible. Their brand became clearer, their marketing more consistent and their team aligned behind a shared strategy.
In early 2025, Rocket was acquired, marking the end of our work together but the transformation we built over two years continues as part of their next chapter.
