  • Fault Line - Brand Development and Assets

    Thomas was referred to me by a long-standing client for whom I’d provided social media management. He initially reached out for support with branded assets but after a short discussion, it became clear that he also needed a logo to bring his new consultancy business to life.


    One of the highlights of working with Thomas was his clear and thoughtful vision. He had a strong sense of the concept he wanted to convey, as well as preferences for colours and style. His business, Fault Line, is built on a compelling idea: that companies often struggle to scale because their departments and systems operate in silos, allowing valuable resources and knowledge to fall through the cracks.


    Thomas was particularly drawn to the imagery of geographical fault lines to represent these internal business fractures. He wanted a brand that was clean, clear and professional, avoiding dark backgrounds while still evoking the dynamic energy of shifting earth.


    Working collaboratively, I translated Thomas’s vision to my husband, Tom, who developed three initial logo concepts. With a few thoughtful tweaks, we were able to arrive at a final design that aligned perfectly with the brand’s message and Thomas’s vision.

  • Strategic Brand Content for a Complex Product Launch

    This project came via a client who needed support with a particularly complex product, one that required not just creative thinking but also a solid grasp of strategic brand development.


    The product itself was multifaceted, targeting a professional audience across multiple sectors and was at a sensitive stage of its development. The internal team needed someone who could quickly understand the brand’s positioning, develop a clear narrative and deliver content that would resonate with both stakeholders and end users.


    I was brought in to help refine the messaging and ensure all content aligned with the overarching brand strategy. This meant getting under the skin of the product, helping shape how it should be communicated and creating assets that had clarity, charisma and commercial impact.


    The scope of the work included:


    Supporting strategic brand discussions with senior stakeholders.

    Creating multi-channel content tailored to the audience.

    Ensuring all assets delivered were both on-brand and on-brief.

  • Driving Growth and Impact at Rocket Graphics

    Client: Rocket Graphics


    Role: Freelance Marketing Manager (2023–2025)


    Services Provided: Brand strategy, marketing leadership, CSR development, digital presence, CRM implementation


    In 2023, I joined Rocket Graphics at a pivotal time. Like many businesses, Rocket had been significantly affected by the pandemic and was navigating a shifting landscape. With some traditional client markets evolving and fewer inbound enquiries, the business knew it needed to sharpen its presence but didn’t yet have the in-house marketing expertise to make that happen.


    I was brought in to help raise Rocket’s profile and unlock new business opportunities. From the outset, I felt part of the team and over the next two years, we achieved some brilliant things together.


    Strategic Foundation

    We began with a brand strategy workshop, designed to clarify Rocket’s identity and align the team around a shared vision. This led to a refreshed brand narrative and set of guidelines that highlighted what made Rocket unique: a team that clients trusted, a commitment to quality and a portfolio that deserved to be in the spotlight.


    Elevating the Brand

    With a clearer sense of direction, we overhauled Rocket’s digital presence, creating a modern, user-friendly website to showcase their capabilities and success stories. I also introduced regular marketing activity, including social media content, trade show participation and PR opportunities. This shift led to a noticeable increase in business enquiries and better positioning in the markets they wanted to grow into.


    Supporting Growth Initiatives

    I worked closely with the Sales Director to implement a new CRM system, giving Rocket more control over lead generation and customer relationships. We also identified and exhibited at targeted trade shows, helping the team connect with the right people, in the right spaces.


    CSR That Mattered

    One of the most meaningful parts of my time at Rocket was helping shape their Corporate Social Responsibility approach. I introduced and led fundraising initiatives for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, a cause deeply close to the team, and to me personally. We raised over £10,000 in a year through a mix of awareness campaigns, team fundraising activities and partner outreach. It was a real privilege to make a difference for a Rocket colleague’s daughter and others affected by CF.

    In early 2025, Rocket Graphics was acquired and my time with them came to a close. But the transformation we achieved together, from quiet but capable to confident and visible, is something I’ll always be proud of.

What qualifies me to advise you?

Diploma

In 2016 I completed my diploma through the Chartered Institute of Marketing. This was an incredibly valuable investment as I learnt so much about practical implementation and strategic planning.

 BA Honours Degree

Achieving a 2:1 in my Media Studies Degree at Chichester University set the ball rolling for a career in marketing for me. It ignited the flame to support others and help them to effectively market their business.

Work Experience

I have over 10 years experience working with a range of companies from international pharmaceuticals to local family run businesses. I understand complex business structures and different markets.
